Depending on the season ( open only mid may to the end of september) or stroll through the traditional village of Berchtesgaden and have a break for lunch, followed by a lot of action and fun in the salt mines: you can dress up in miners cloth, ride a train into the heart of the mountain, slide down giant chutes from one gallery to the next, glide across a salt lake on a raft, and learn all about salt in the mines of Berchtesgaden.
